Thesis Statement
How to write a thesis statement?
What is it?
This is the single,specific claim that your essay supports. It includes a topic, a determine opinion, and reasoning. It is an arguable statement, and it is the point of your paper.
Which are its parts?
It has three main parts:

the subject → the topic of the  essay
the precise opinion → your opinion on the topic of the essay, your claim, what you think about the topic.
the blueprint of reasons → your strong pieces of evidence to support your opinion. In other words, your reasons to support your claim. At least, there should be three reasons. They can be listed at the end of the statement, at the beginning of it, or in the next sentence. In addition, they persuade the reader to believe your claim.

Moreover, they will be developed in the body of your essay. You will provide detailed examples for each piece of evidence and explain what you mean about each piece of evidence.

According to the linguistic J.L Austin, words not only bring about actions, sometimes words themselves are actions such as apologizing, ordering, warning, promising.  These words are called Speech acts because they cause an action .  We find two separate parts of speech: a Constative sentence and a Performative one. Constatives are sentences that describe something as true or false. Performatives are sentences that denote an action, they inspire action. These kind of sentences depend on context and reception, these are known as Felicity conditions. If these conditions are not met then the Performative does not have the power to denote action. However, meeting these conditions does not mean that the action inspired by the Performative is followed. This depend on whether the people respect the power of words or not.
